God has given each of us gifts, opportunities, and responsibilities. When we faithfully do our best, we honour God and show His love to others. Responsibility isn't about being perfect, it's about being faithful with what God has entrusted to us.

As you're getting ready for the day, ask: What's one responsibility you have today? Invite your child to choose one job they'll complete with a positive attitude, such as making their bed, packing their bag, or feeding a pet.
DRIVE TIME
Give everyone a small job before or after the meal, setting the table, pouring drinks, clearing dishes, or wiping the table. Thank each person for doing their part.
As you drive, Play the game "Responsibility Spotting" notice people doing their jobs, crossing guards, bus drivers, gardeners, shop workers, or construction crews. Talk about how their work helps others.
Before bed, Pray together: "God, thank You for giving us opportunities to help others. Please help us do our best with every job You give us, whether it's big or small. Help us be faithful and joyful in everything we do. Amen."

Write a note on your preteen’s door or mirror, “I am so grateful God made you! Take some time today to notice all of the other wonderful things God has made. Make a mental list and share it with me later.”
