ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER:

MORNING TIME

When you go into your child’s room, say: “Good morning, [child’s name]! I have a happy face (point to smile) because God loves you and God loves me!”

DRIVE TIME

While on the go, look for things that make you smile. Talk about what it is about those things that make you feel happy, and thank God for feeling happy.

CUDDLE TIME

Cuddle with your child and pray: “God, thank You for giving us emotions, like happiness and sadness. Thank You that we can always talk to You about how we feel and that You will love us no matter what.”

BATH TIME

Add heart-shaped sponges or foam hearts to bath time. Line them up on the side of the tub. Count them. Name their colours. Talk about how hearts remind us of love and how God loves us A LOT!
