MEMORY VERSE
“Be kind and loving to each other.”
Ephesians 4:32, NCV
DO THIS:
MORNING TIME
When you go into your child’s room, cuddle them and say: “Good morning, [child’s name]! Do you know why I’m smiling? I’m smiling because I know we can talk to Jesus and ask Him for help anytime we need it, just like the man with leprosy did.”
DRIVE TIME
While on the go, every time you see a person, say: “Jesus loves that person!” Talk about how Jesus loves everyone!
CUDDLE TIME
Cuddle with your child and pray: “God, thank You for sending Jesus to love people who are sick and have boo-boos, just like Jesus loved the man with leprosy in the Bible.”
BATH TIME
Use a washable marker to make dots on a plastic toy. Give the toy to your child during bath time. Tell them to wash the “boo-boos” off. Talk about how there was a man in the Bible who had boo-boos all over his skin. No one would touch the man or be his friend until he met Jesus. Jesus was his friend! Jesus touched him and made all of his boo-boos go away!
