SAY THIS:

God made me wonderful.

ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER:

MORNING TIME

When you go into your child’s room, say: “Good morning! I’m looking for someone God made. (Pretend to look around and then point to child.) There you are! God made [child’s name]!” (Cuddle your child.)

DRIVE TIME

While on the go, take turns with your child saying this sentence: “God made my (name a part of your body).” When you get where you’re going, say together: “God made me!”

CUDDLE TIME

Cuddle with your child and pray: “God, thank You for making [child’s name]. I love being their [parent/caregiver]. Only an amazing and wonderful God could make someone as amazing and wonderful as [child’s name].”

BATH TIME

Give your child a washcloth with soap on it. Tell them to listen for you to name a part of their body, and then encourage them to wash it with their washcloth. When bath time is over, say: “God made you, and now you are all clean!”
