As your kid starts their day, share a story of when you saw them make a wise choice.
While on the go, ask your kid: “Who is someone that helped you lately? Who is someone you have helped?”
At a meal this week, have everyone at the table answer this question: “What does it mean to be wise?”
Pray for each other: “God, help us to look to You for wisdom, and to the wise people You have placed in our lives.”

Help us to see where we have our own planks’ to work on and to give grace to those around us for their ‘specks.’ Show us Your perspective so we can make the wise choice every time we need to this week. What can you do if you find yourself surrounded by people who make unwise choices and try to involve you in them?
“Dear God, thank You for these friends and leaders in our lives. Thanks for giving us good opportunities to hang out with wise people. Please help us listen to those around us who are giving good advice and who point us to You when we need wisdom. We love You, and we pray these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
Pray for each other: “God, surround us with wise people and bring wise people into our lives to help us, guide us, and discover more about You.”
