Who’s got it? God’s got it.
ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER:
W hen you go into your child’s room, say, “Good morning! It’s a new day to trust that God’s got it! God’s got (mom- my, daddy). God’s got (name of child). God’s got it!”
Cuddle with your child this month and pray, “Dear God, Thank You for another wonderful day with (name of child). Help us to keep doing what is right, and no matter what happens, trust that You’ve got it. You are so big and powerful, God, and You love us A LOT! You’re the best, and we love You. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
Get a small basket and put some snacks in it for your child to have when they return from a walk or a drive. When you get home, tell them they can eat the snacks you put in the basket. Talk about how baby Moses’ mommy put him in a basket to keep him safe. God sent the Princess of Egypt to help take care of him.
Add toy boats and a watering can to bathtime. Show your child how to “make it rain” on the boats using the watering can. Talk about how God kept Noah, his family, and the animals safe in the big boat. After God dried up all of the water, He put a rainbow in the sky to show His promise to never flood the world again. And God always keeps His promises!
