ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER:

MORNING TIME

When you go into your child’s room, cuddle them and sing the following words to the tune of “Happy Birthday”: “Good morning to you! Good morning to you! God loves [child’s name] so much! Good morning to you!”

DRIVE TIME

While on the go, talk about where you are going. Ask your child who will be there. Say: “God will be where we are going, too, because God is always with us!”

CUDDLE TIME

Cuddle with your child and pray: “Dear God, no one is as big and powerful as You. And because You are so big and powerful, You can always be with me and You can always be with [child’s name]. Wow! You are amazing, God!”

BATH TIME

Add matching items to bath time. Ask your child to help you match the items. When you make a match, say: “The [spoon] goes with the [spoon].” After all of the items have been matched, say: “And God is always with YOU!”
