ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER:

MORNING TIME

When you go into your child’s room, cuddle them and say: “Good morning, [child’s name]! Christmas is one day closer! Are you excited to celebrate Jesus’ birthday? Me too! Jesus is special because Jesus is God’s Son!”

DRIVE TIME

While on the go, look for angels in all of the Christmas decorations. Talk about how God sent an angel to tell Mary she was going to have God’s Son, Jesus!

CUDDLE TIME

Cuddle with your child and pray: “Dear God, [child’s name] and I are so excited that it is Christmas! Help us remember that Christmas is when we celebrate Jesus’ birthday and Jesus is special because Jesus is Your Son.”

BATH TIME

While giving your child a bath, sing the following words to the tune of “Wheels on the Bus”: “God has given a Son to us, Son to us, Son to us. God has given a Son to us. Jesus is God’s Son!”
