Jesus teaches that we can be a shining light and choose to show God’s goodness.

WEEK THREE

David and Jonathan

King David is faithful and does what he said he would do when he helps Jonathan’s son, Mephibosheth.

WEEK FOUR

Jesus and the Little Children

Mark 10:13-16

Jesus is gentle and tells the disciples to let the children come to Him.

WEEK FIVE

When Jesus Is Your Friend Forever

John 3:16

When we believe Jesus is God’s Son and follow Him, we can choose self-control and do what is right.

MEMORY VERSE

“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life.’”

John 14:6, NIV

DO THIS:

MORNING TIME

When you go into your child’s room, say: “Good morning! Let’s see how many times we can choose kindness today!”

DRIVE TIME

While on the go, tell your child that choosing to be kind to everyone is always the right thing to do. Ask them: “Who are some people we will see today, and how can we be kind to them?”

CUDDLE TIME

Cuddle with your child and pray: “God, thank You for sending Jesus to show us how to be kind to everyone.”

BATH TIME

Add a toy doctor kit and toy friends to bath time. Encourage your child to help their toy friends feel better, just like the Good Samaritan showed kindness and helped the hurt man.
