BIBLE STORY

Hannah

1 Samuel 1-2

After Hannah cries out to God and talks to Him about why she is so sad, she isn’t sad anymore.

MEMORY VERSE

“I will always love you.”

Jeremiah 31:3, CEV

SAY THIS:

God loves you.

ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER:

MORNING TIME

When you go into your child’s room, cuddle them and say: “Good morning, [child’s name]! Today is a great day because God loves you (touch child’s nose) and God loves me!”

DRIVE TIME

While on the go, talk to God about the trees, plants, and flowers you see. Thank God that You can talk to Him anytime, anywhere, and about anything.

CUDDLE TIME

Cuddle with your child and pray: “God, thank You that [child’s name] and I can talk to You anytime, anywhere, and about anything. Today, we want to talk to You about… (Ask your child what they want to talk to God about.) You’re the best, God! In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

BATH TIME

Add bubbles, a plastic spoon, and heartshaped cookie cutters to bath time. Line the hearts along the edge of the tub. Tell your child to scoop bubbles with a spoon and fill the hearts with the bubbles. While your child plays, talk about how God loves us.
