MARCH 2024 - Overview
BIBLE STORY
Easter
Matthew 26:26-28:10
Jesus dies, is put in a tomb, and comes back just like He said He would, so we could be His friend forever.
MEMORY VERSE
“I have called you friends.”
John 15:15, NIV
SAY THIS:
Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER:
MORNING TIME
When you go into your child’s room, cuddle them and say: “Good morning, [child’s name]! I love you SO much. And guess who else loves you? Jesus! Jesus loves you, and He wants to be your friend forever.”
DRIVE TIME
While on the go, look for Easter decorations. Every time you see some, say, “Yay, Jesus! Jesus is alive!”
CUDDLE TIME
Cuddle with your child and pray: “God, thank You that Jesus wants to be our friend forever and ever and ever!”
BATH TIME
During bath, sing the following words to the tune of “The Wheels on the Bus”: “Jesus wants to be my friend, be my friend, be my friend! Jesus wants to be my friend, forever and ever!” (Repeat and change “my” to “your.”) Talk about how Jesus wants to be friends with everyone!
