WEEK TWO

Wonderfully Made

All people are wonderfully made by God.

WEEK THREE

In God’s Image

Acts 17:24; Psalm 46:1, Proverbs 2:6

God made all people in His image to think, create, and help.

WEEK FOUR

You Are Important To God

Luke 12:7

People are so important to God that He even knows the number of hairs on their heads.

MEMORY VERSE

“I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”

DO THIS:

MORNING TIME

When you go into your child’s room, say: “Good morning, [child’s name]! God made the sun. God made the stars. God made the animals. And God made . . . YOU!”

DRIVE TIME

While on the go, take turns naming things you see that God made. Then, look at each other and say: “God made you!”

CUDDLE TIME

Cuddle with your child and pray: “God, thank You for making this amazing world for us to live in and enjoy. Most of all, thank You for making [name of child]. They are truly wonderful!”

BATH TIME

Add toy animals and toy people to bath time. Line them up, bathe them, name them and make their sounds. Talk about how God makes all animals and people.

Week 1 | 4 - 10 September

Hannah Is Sad

Hannah is very sad about not having a baby so she talks to God about it.

SCRIPTURE:

1 Samuel 1:2-20

DO THIS (MORNING TIME):

When you go into your child’s room, say: “Good morning, [child’s name]! Let’s tell God good morning, too, because we can always talk to God.”

Week 2 | 11-17 September

Gideon Is Afraid

Gideon is so afraid that he hides in a hole to do his work, and God sends an angel to talk to him.

SCRIPTURE:

Judges 6:2-4, 11-12

DO THIS (DRIVE TIME):

While on the go, make sad and happy faces together, while repeating: “God loves me when I’m sad. God loves me when I’m happy. God loves me no matter what!”

Week 3 | 18 - 23 September

Moses Is Frustrated

Moses talks to God about how frustrated he is with the Israelites, and God helps him.

Numbers 11:4-17

DO THIS (CUDDLE TIME):

Cuddle with your child and pray: “God, thank You for giving us emotions, like happiness and sadness. Thank You that we can always talk to You about how we feel and that You will love us no matter what.”

Week 4 | 24 September - 1 October

Abraham and Sarah Are Happy

Abraham and Sarah are so happy that God has given them a son after waiting for many, many years.

SCRIPTURE:

Genesis 21:1-8

DO THIS (BATH TIME):

Add bath foam to bath time. Practice drawing happy and sad faces with the foam on the inside of the tub. Talk about how God loves us when we are happy and when we are sad. God loves us no matter what!
