Jesus is alive.
WEEK ONE
Palm Sunday
Matthew 21:1-11, 15-16
People lay palm branches and coats on the road and shout, “Hosanna,” when Jesus rides into town.
WEEK TWO
Easter
Matthew 26:20-50; 27:1-2; 28:1-7; John 13:33; 14:1-3, 28
Some people hurt Jesus so badly that He died, but on the third day, Jesus comes back, just like He said He would.
WEEK THREE
Breakfast on the Beach
John 21:1-14
After Jesus comes back, He cooks breakfast for the disciples and spends time with them.
WEEK FOUR
Great Commission
Matthew 28:19-20
Jesus tells the disciples to go and tell everyone, everywhere the good news that Jesus is alive.
MEMORY VERSE
“I am alive for ever and ever!”
Revelation 1:18, NIV
DO THIS:
MORNING TIME
When you go into your child’s room, say: “Good morning, [child’s name]! When I count to three, let’s tell all of your toys that Jesus is alive. One, two, three . . . Jesus is alive!”
DRIVE TIME
While on the go, name some different things you celebrate, like birthdays, school parties, and sports events. Talk about how Easter is when we celebrate Jesus.
CUDDLE TIME
Cuddle with your child and pray: “God, [name of child] and I want to celebrate Your Son, Jesus, because that’s what Easter is all about. Yay, Jesus!”
BATH TIME
Celebrate Jesus on your way to bath time by waving your washcloth in the air and saying, “Hosanna! Hosanna! Yay, Jesus!” Keep the celebration going during bath time with some preschool praise music.
