APRIL 2022 - Overview

Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

WEEK ONE

Walking On Water

Matthew 14:22-33

Jesus walks on water and saves Peter when he begins to sink.

WEEK TWO

Palm Sunday

Matthew 21:1-11, 15-16

The people spread coats on the road and shout, “Hosanna!” when they hear that Jesus is coming.

WEEK THREE

Easter

Matthew 26:21-30; 27:1-2; 28: 1-7

Jesus dies and is buried in a tomb, but three days later, He comes back. Jesus is alive!

WEEK FOUR

Breakfast on the Beach

John 21:1-14

After Jesus comes back, He makes breakfast on the beach for His friends, the disciples.

MEMORY VERSE

“I am with you always.”

Matthew 28:20, NIV

DO THIS:

MORNING TIME

When you go into your child’s room, say: “Good morning! Who is always with [child’s name]? Jesus is always with [child’s name]!”

DRIVE TIME

While on the go, ask your child what they are looking forward to most about Easter.

CUDDLE TIME

Cuddle with your child and pray: “God, thank You that our friend, Jesus, is always with us. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

BATH TIME

Add plastic toy figures/animals to bath time. Show your child how to make them walk on water. As your child plays, talk about how Jesus really did walk on water. Jesus can do anything, like always be with us.
